Can anyone suggest one? Specifically I`m looking for the adventure based ones where you have to type to progress the action.
I enjoyed slime forest, but I`ve moved beyond it and am now interested in software (freeware) created for japanese people.

I'm using the one included with Slime Forest Adventure at lrnj.com. I don't think you can play that portion for free, though... I think you have to buy it to get it. I like it a lot.
