Here's a sentence I pruned from somewhere...
彼らは２～３年後に結婚して、現在は２人の娘がいます。
While it's easy to understand the meaning, I don't know how you'd read it aloud.
How would a native read ２～３? The same way a native English speaker would read "2-3" as "two through three" or "two to three" etc.

A related question that came up for me recently - how does this differ for situations like days, for example, where the number words aren't the same?
For example, is １～２日 いちふつか or いちににち？
