thematic vocabulary (flashcards ,excel , text file) - ghinzdra - 2008-04-30 I m currently looking for thematic vocabulary list : kitchen utensils , fishes ,etc... . Electronic version would be way better but if it can t be avoided then I can type it ... Right now I found only 2 things close enough : - flashcard exchanges . But the list are really short most of the time - stackz : but for one part even if there must be a way I m not totally sure I can export it easily under a text file or a spreedsheat I could import in anki , for other part the most interesting thematic list are in german . http://www.stackz.com/Stackz/Archive/Archive.php#TopicBasedLists Would you have something else ? thematic vocabulary (flashcards ,excel , text file) - Jarvik7 - 2008-04-30 Fish are probably one of the hardest topics to memorize, so I'd skip that one for awhile Most Japanese people can't even remember the kanji for any fish except for a few common ones.

Of course, you've then got to type or scan them all in... I noticed recently that one of the phrase books came with a CD, so if you could get some kind of auto-splicer to extract the audio too. The same web site has various other vocabulary lists links here. ALC have a themed sentence database with 50 different topics and 2,800 sentences altogether. It sounds good on the covers...like, 3000 words, but in the end it's about 2500 words I'll never need ^_^; |
