I'm wondering if anyone where has personal experiences they can share about Debito's new article:
The 2nd Great Gaijin Massacre in Japan’s education system, with 5-year contracts coming due in 2018 (2023 for uni profs).
I've mentioned this before, but I did JET for a couple of years after college, and briefly considered staying on after the program. Because of that I'm always interested in stories about people who did stay on, how their lives turned out, and what "integration" means for them. Some of these stories, especially in the comments, are pretty sad.
