Media to Listen (and read) in particular topics [Primarily Japanese but also Hanyu]. - 平気でいる - 2016-03-23

Hi Everyone.
I am kinda new (just registered but started reading some threads a year before). I want to ask you to share some of your knowledge about media in Japanese, and Chinese also.

After learning vocabulary, studying, passing tests, and going to Japan, I am back home in my country I am finding difficult to keep immersion-input in something that actually gets my attention. I watch some anime but it´s getting worse with the years (IMO). These topics may be too specific but I really need some interesting for me to actually listen and enjoy more the process of immersion.

For listening I am searching for YouTube channels or something that updates regularly so I have natural and constant material. In Topics such as:
• Physical training (like weightlifting and traditional martial arts)
• Learning more about Japanese society of today (discussions, presentations or whatever about it) [or China in case of Chinese]
• Japanese cooking (but actually learn to do stuff)
• Games and movies (but no let’s play, more like learning-discussion about it)
• Alpinism/camping/survival (yes, maybe weird lol)
• Or maybe advanced classes in Japanese and Chinese (but real ones not like the typical Japanese class that never pass an N3 or so)

For reading… do you good places to read manga on-line? [in native language obviously] in topics and genres such as: seinen, sci-fi, horror, fantasy-epic, historic stuff.

IF you know Chinese sources in Hanyu about these topics I want to know also.
If you know some interesting things in other topics you can share it.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter  Shy

PS: Sorry if my English is bad or something but It is not my language, and I don’t really practice to write a lot.

I discovered this Japanese bookstore honto has some free books and manga: http://honto.jp/cp/ebook/recent/free.html?cid=ip_eb_albn_l21

Of course you can also purchase either ebooks or physical copies too. They have their own ebook reader to use for ebooks, and you can use it on our computer.

I was looking among the channels, I think I will stick to 木下ゆうか, Cooking with Dog, and はじめしゃちょー for the moment. And also give a try to Lets play with 兄者弟者 and ろあのゲームチャンネル♪ I liked how they express themselves.  =)
That is already a lot of listening material. Nice. That was helpful, Thank you
