Help with Rikaisama - Dreambox - 2016-02-08 So I've decided to try this out for faster card making, but I'm having a bit of trouble actually getting it to work. I followed the instructions on the add-on page for Rikaisama up to the point where I press 'R' and it says 'Note added' ... but I don't see the note anywhere in the deck I made (I had the deck opened when I added the note, otherwise I got an error). Since I just got a new laptop, I just re-downloaded Anki so it is completely clean for now, so the note could not have gotten lost. I checked the add-on log and the test words I added actually show up in the log. I searched Anki for the invisible notes and they are nowhere to be found. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? If it's adding the note somewhere, I'm guessing I've done everything right up to that point. RE: Help with Rikaisama - Dreambox - 2016-02-08 Anyone? Bueller? Bearing that in mind, are you sure there isn't a note there? RE: Help with Rikaisama - anotherjohn - 2016-02-08 I vaguely recall something like this happening to me. IIRC it was that the import silently fails if the target deck is empty, so you have to add a dummy card first. RE: Help with Rikaisama - RawrPk - 2016-02-08 anotherjohn is right. You must make a dummy card first so Rikaisama knows which deck to add the note. RE: Help with Rikaisama - Dreambox - 2016-02-08 Thank you. Adding a dummy card indeed fixed my issue.
