Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - Snesgamer - 2015-12-27 I can find Japanese on the Internet, but either it's on Youtube videos where I have to keep looking for new videos or risk the auto-play selecting a video in another language when I'm not controlling it, or I'll find a site that has a "Japanese" station but it will have intermittent English segments for their Western listeners. I'm looking for something that's at a decent difficulty level and that I can just leave on without too much maintenance for a constant immersion experience. RE: Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - RawrPk - 2015-12-27 http://wilsonjj.me/jptv/# Literally just found this. From what I can tell it is only on one channel. I'm watching as we speak xD Also there is QVC Japan. http://qvc.jp/cont/live/Main? Not much variety with the sites I found but at least it is continuous RE: Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - gaiaslastlaugh - 2015-12-27 Not toally free, but if you purchase a decent VPN connection ($5-8 for a month), you can stream NHK Radio's channels. http://www.nhk.or.jp/r1/ RE: Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - xtreme1 - 2015-12-27 vpn on netflix, streamup channels, and youtube playlists (ted talks, comedy skits) RE: Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - nightbreak - 2015-12-28 tunein.com has several japanese radio stream. This one has several talks show: http://tunein.com/radio/FM-PiPi-763-s8011/ RE: Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - zx573 - 2015-12-28 Slightly different, but have you looked into Niconico Live? I haven't been on it recently, but I used to watch a lot of video game streamers on there. There are also talk show style livestreams as well. And seconding the Youtube playlists things if you can't find any streaming content you want to watch. I sometimes throw some 兄者弟者 playlists on and follow along while I do other stuff. There are LOTS of videos on their channel and are separated into separate playlists for each game. I'm also the type of person that leaves Twitch.tv streams running all day in the background, though, so maybe this isn't as appealing for others.

If you're serious about streaming TV, you should consider shelling out for a set-top IPTV option, or a PC/Android-based subscription service like JPHD. There's only so much you're going to be able to get for free, and those options usually disappear as rapidly as they appear (R.I.P Niji, TVApp.so, and pretty much every single option mentioned in this old thread: http://forum.koohii.com/thread-5533.html). The folks at D-addicts maintain a massive running thread regarding the current options, what's working and what's flakey: http://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=73546. The various services offered by JapanNetTV currently appear to be cream of the crop. I've been using JPHD for the PC now for several months with only a few issues. If you have cable in the United States, you can go the legal route and shell out for TV Japan, but I find that as interesting as watching paint dry on the walls of a church on Sunday morning. RE: Good sites for free constant streaming Japanese? - Stansfield123 - 2015-12-31 Momoiro Clover Z U-stream. It's usually recordings, but they're live from Tokyo, doing a New Year's countdown show for the next five hours (Japan is ahead of us by quite a bit, they're three hours away from midnight): http://www.ustream.tv/channel/momoclotv |
