translator in tokyo? - notoriousruz - 2008-04-11 Hiya, I'm looking for a translator/producer for some web video I want to do in Tokyo. Would anyone round here know someone or be interested themselves? It's unpaid, or really, really low paid. cheers translator in tokyo? - Jarvik7 - 2008-04-11 You might want to specify if it's J-E or E-J translation. No respectable translator translates into a language other than their native tongue/language of primary use. translator in tokyo? - notoriousruz - 2008-04-12 Ahhh, 'tis true what you say. But lo, for my poor English skills, though it be my native tongue. What I meant is an interpretor, nay, just someone who speaks good Japanese and reasonable English. Not a translator of documents. I want to interview people in the know on various esoteric subjects and I don't want to confine the interviewee list to those confident in English. I need someone who can talk confidently, in Japanese, about bugs, dams, bikes, you name it. If said individual were also able to help me organize interviews then that would be paid (poorly). Where can I find this dream person? I'm sure this post is as unclear as the last, so apologies. |
