JLPT Listening - kassia - 2015-11-19 I'll be taking the jlpt for the first time in December and I am a little bit scared of the listening part as this is my weakness. Question: do they repeat the recording? I have a little trouble of getting everything only hearing it once. Specially numbers... also any other suggestion to get better at listening in 2 weeks will be helpful. I have been doing the genki listening exercises and as there are questions related to what I heard it has been a good exercise. RE: JLPT Listening - Bokusenou - 2015-11-19 No, they don't repeat the recording. As for listening, according to your other posts, you're going for N4, right? I would try to find some easier podcasts. Don't worry if you don't understand everything, just focus on picking up what you do understand. I've heard good things about HOTCAST(http://radio.hotcast.info/) and there's this one announcer on the SBS Japanese podcast which speaks very slowly and clearly: http://tunein.com/radio/SBS-Japanese-p191524/ Her newest one is the "AsiaFest" one. For more learner-oriented listening material, I might try some of JapanesePod101's free podcasts. The important thing is to get used to audio-only listening materials. RE: JLPT Listening - kassia - 2015-11-20 Thank you I will check them out. I will actually take n5 as I was not confident enough on taking the n4 will work hard on the listening so I don't fail the listening section
