Hey guys,
Any good Mandarin dramas out there? I'm a fan of Kudo Kankuro.. Dramas like Tiger and Dragon, Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, etc. etc.

I'm not familiar with those Japanese dramas, so I can't really tailor my response to you, but here are some popular dramas that I enjoyed.
蜗居 - Dark in spots, really captivating... I think it was banned in China at some point.
我的青春谁做主 - City life
武林外传 - Comedy, hilarious, but requires a lot of background knowledge to get the jokes.
将军 - Based in the 1911 辛亥革命
养父 - Family drama, a man raises 3 adopted children.
西游记 (80版) - Hilarious and just a classic.
士兵突击 - Military
奋斗 - Another city life, youths trying to make their way sort of story.

Chinese drama - zer0range - 2011-10-21
I would recommend downloading PPStream and PPLive. Between the two of them, they have almost every drama China has ever produced, along with a ton more. (Streaming TV, movies, documentaries, sports broadcasts in Chinese, etc..)
