Wrong characters in Heisig's book? - Strannik - 2011-05-06 Hello everyone! I've been using Heisig's Remembering Simplified Hanzi for a while now and I am starting to notice strange things. For example, frame 290 gives the following character for the word "suitable": 适 BUT the first part of the character only has one dot on top of it instead of two. Frame 287 "road" has the same issue - only one dot instead of two (as the dictionaries show). Is this a mistake? Frame 306 gives a certain character for the word "exceed" but it can't find it in any dictionary. Why is this? Is the book full of mistakes or am I not getting something (hopefully)?
