Book that teaches hanzi like RTK2? - jorrebenst - 2011-01-07

I've been looking for it, but only found a book by a missionary from the beginning of the century (http://www.amazon.com/Chinese-Characters-Dover-books-language/dp/0486213218). I would prefer something more modern, preferably with the simplified characters too (or only simplified is fine too. Apparently they tidied up the phonetic system in the simplified characters).

I'm really convinced of the signal primitive method of RTK2, and if it's true that the system is way more consistent in mandarin than in Japanese...

So does anybody know of the existence of such a book?

Thanks!

Wops, here's another one: http://www.amazon.com/Dictionary-Chinese-Characters-Accessed-Phonetics/dp/0415460468
Anybody ever heard of it? Is it a good book?

I have not studied hanzi yet, but, from what I hear, this is not the case. Even if they did try to tidy it up, it does not seem like they did a very good job. Here are a couple of examples.
