printing flaw? - Mesqueeb - 2010-09-06 Remembering the Simplified Hanzi Page 385 #1116 + #1117 Aren't those printing flaws in the way of using the wrong font? -Mesqueeb printing flaw? - Mesqueeb - 2010-09-06 What about #1020 "List" 单 He says "sunflower" but it is not a sunflower... A real sunflower's needle doesn't pierce the sun right? printing flaw? - JimmySeal - 2010-09-06 Mesqueeb Wrote:What about #1020 "List" 单I don't have the RTH books, but you're right that that's not sunflower. RTK was notorious for being loaded with mistakes. I think they finally got most of them out in the 5th edition, but it will probably be a few editions before all the kinks are worked out of RTH. I believe RTH had owl, brain/field, and needle for 単, so you can think of this one as horns, brain/field, and needle. printing flaw? - rcloud - 2010-09-06 Mesqueeb Wrote:Remembering the Simplified HanziNice catch on the fonts, I never noticed that before. Just in case anyone hasn't seen it, Heisig posted an errata on the UH Press site: http://nirc.nanzan-u.ac.jp/publications/miscPublications/Remembering%20Hanzi%201.htm Some of the mistakes are fixed, but obviously there are many more. printing flaw? - XiaoJu - 2010-09-08 Hi, I had merged the RSH1 book pdf file found on internet (shared by somebody of this forum, thanks to him!!!), with the erratum. the full file on rapidshare: http://rapidshare.com/files/417782782/RSH1-Remembering_Simplified_Hanzi-merged.pdf and here the link to the torrent file, also on rapidshare: http://rapidshare.com/files/417790296/RSH1-Remembering_Simplified_Hanzi-merged.pdf.torrent enjoy! printing flaw? - liosama - 2010-09-08 yeah he did say that was a sunflower didn't he. I'm so glad the RTH anki deck I downloaded has the RTK keyword in its own field, that way I can compare whether or not I should keep the RTH keyword or just revert it back to the RTK if its close enough. I lost my old RTK deck unfortunately so I've started the deck from scratch. |
