Anyone have New Practical Chinese Reader books? - deathtrap - 2010-05-28

This may or may not be an acceptable post for this forum, so if it isn't I apologize in advance.

A few months ago I scanned and uploaded my copy of Remembering Simplified Hanzi, which was pretty good/great quality which is now plastered all over torrent sites :p

I'm wondering if anyone has the New Practical Chinese Reader books(volumes 2,3,4,5 or 6) that they could scan and upload? A family member of mine went to China recently and was only able to find volume 1 which I have sitting on my desk even though I already worked through the scan I found online.

I would have loved to have the printed versions but they weren't able to find it Sad

If anyone is able to provide a scan of any of those New Practical Chinese Reader books I might be tempted to scan my copies of Graded Chinese Reader 2 & 3 for you, and I have 2 books of the Chinese Breeze series at the Level 2 level(500 word level) Wink

I hope this thread doesn't go against forum rules, but it's very hard to find Chinese books in this country let alone a specific volume of a specific book series. I'm hoping somebody could help me and others out.

Of course it doesn't, thus so many replies to your post Smile

If the publishers actually sold their books as ebooks I wouldn't need to open a thread like this because having a 450% shipping charge for books is too much.

DVDs of 3 and 4 are on demonoid, and 2 is on TPB. If you google you can find them Smile

Yep I already got those, the first 3 DVD's are up on YouTube also if you search for "npcr" , but I really need the texts with the notes after the dialogues =/

Like I said, I'm willing to make a trade in book scans. NPCR 2-6 for 2x Chinese Breeze, and Graded Chinese Reader 2 & 3 Smile

Or if anyone knows where I can buy them as ebooks, all the better.
