Where are all the good Core anki decks? - Alec_xvi - 2015-10-13 Hello all, After a two year J-burn-out, I have finally decided to push again for the N1. Finished RTK a while back, and I am now looking for the Core 10K Anki decks. Been looking all over this forum, but all the links to Nukemarine's decks seem dead. Found a link to a Core 6k (10 steps) deck on Reddit, and a Core 10k on the Anki website, but the formatting is just horrible with both. Essentially I am looking for the V18 deck that pmnox mentions in the post below: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=194652#pid194652 I am not sure if that is the "best" or most up to date Core deck, so if there is a better version please let me know. On a final note, if anyone has any recommended decks (aside from Core) for N1 vocabulary study, hook me up with your suggestions. Thanks! If you already have another Core 10k deck based on it I think it will not help much since, as you say, the formatting is not that nice in any of those decks (concerning colors, alignment, fonts, and information being shown), but fortunately you can customize them any way you want. For example, I prefer something more "minimalistic" and left-aligned so I've been using a very simple style like this for reviews, with the sentence in Japanese on the front and the main vocab in blue: Front: ![]() Back: ![]() I've changed some things in the fields, including some of their names, so I think it's not just a matter of pasting here the styling, it would not work anywhere else. To make things easier, if people can't find the original decks and want this one I could upload it somewhere, like MEGA, but it will take millions of years because my upload speed is just that bad. Where are all the good Core anki decks? - stephenmac7 - 2015-10-13 At least for the core 6k, you can find the spreadsheets (download as tsv and import, then copy the media from the same thread-- some of the pictures aren't matched and about 20 of the 6000 cards are missing audio) here: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=5110. Core5000 is easier: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=12092. Where are all the good Core anki decks? - EuPcsl - 2015-10-17 gdaxeman Wrote:It looks really good. Here it is anyway: • Core 10k Supplement [v2015-10-17] [Full].apkg [163.1 MB] • Core 10k Supplement [v2015-10-17] [no media].apkg [12.9 MB] I have changed only the RTK field, field names, and the styling; the default would be that yellow one with a lot of information in the back of the cards. It doesn't have audio, just like the original. They are both the same deck, the difference is that one of them has pictures and the other does not. Where are all the good Core anki decks? - gdaxeman - 2015-10-18 sokino Wrote:What are the problems with the deck? The main problem with the supplement (not with the Core 10k) are mostly related to the sentences; for example, there are cases like these: ![]() Also many of the extra fields are not filled, such as the Vocabulary-PitchAccent, and there's no audio. If you are not going to use neither the sentences nor these extras then perhaps it's not a huge deal, you just have to edit the styling to your liking. Does the 15k supplement have example sentences? The supplement was already shared, see my other post. It has example sentences taken from the Tanuki-Ultima deck and some really funky stuff, as you can see in my last screenshot. It's not ideal but it's what we have for now. Where are all the good Core anki decks? - Sztermel - 2015-10-31 How to update the Core 6k deck to 10k? I am using the only one I could find which has some image errors, idk if it's the newest available version so I could get them fixed and additionally with new 4000 words. I am using anki on android, wouldn't that crash the program as I read somewhere a long time ago that such a huge decks may stop the app. Anyone familiar with this issue? |
