I post it here becase it's not related to japanese study...
I have a vocabulary deck without sentences. And I have a second vocabulary deck with sentences.
Now, I want to import sentences from the second to the first deck (both have a common field).
The problem is that the same common field may appear more than once.
Case 1:
first deck
COMMON FIELD - SENTENCE
月 - "one sentence"
月 - "another sentence"
second deck
月 - (void sentence field)
I want to import both sentences from the first deck into the void field of the second deck.
Case 2:
first deck
絶対 - "a sentence with zettai"
second deck:
絶対 - (void field)
絶対 - (void field)
I want the sentence of the first deck to be imported on both cards of the second deck (they both have 絶対 but they differ in other fields)
While I'm writing I think I came with a solution for the first case: find all cards on the first deck with duplicates, and merge them. Example:
月 - "one sentence" / "another sentence"
I can do a script for the second case but it would be good if I can do it within anki...
