Youtube japanese subtitles - cophnia61 - 2015-09-12 I just realized that youtube gives you the option to filter search results leaving only videos which have subtitles. I was thinking this could be a good resource for those who do L-R. Short videos, easy vocab, topic-based contents. But I wonder if there is a decent amount of j-subbed video. As I'm on my phone now it's hard to check. I don't even have the YT app lol I managed to find some food related video with keywords like "ryouri". What could be other good keywords to use? What do you think about it? I want something good to listen to, but not fiction... so YT seems a good thing... what about shadowing? Youtube japanese subtitles - Bokusenou - 2015-09-12 TEDx talks. Seriously, just search around for keywords like: TEDxTokyo TEDxSapporo TEDxSaku TEDxKagoshima TEDxSEEDS TEDxSannomiya TEDxFukuoka TEDxKeio A ton of them have Japanese subs, like this one: or this one: https://www.youtube.com/#/watch?v=EzXvih454dM Some of them have English subs as well (like the first one I linked). The ones with titles listed in English are more likely to have English subs, and almost always have Japanese ones included. The vocab isn't what I'd call super easy, but most of them aren't too technical either. Youtube japanese subtitles - TheVinster - 2015-09-13 Honestly the biggest impact to me for Japanese media was from d-addicts taking down torrents at the end of last year. People use to regularly time the JP subs for the dramas. Furansu still uploads them on his site but they're untimed. :\ Might watch some TED talks though as per Bokusenou's suggestion. Youtube japanese subtitles - kapalama - 2015-09-13 What does timing mean? Youtube japanese subtitles - Bokusenou - 2015-09-13 kapalama Wrote:What does timing mean?Making sure the subtitles appear at the right time, so they're in sync with the words being said. Youtube japanese subtitles - kapalama - 2015-09-14 Is there particular software to do that? Youtube japanese subtitles - kameden - 2015-09-14 kapalama Wrote:Is there particular software to do that?Aegi sub works. Basically the timings are for the actual broadcast with commercials, but the video files you download usually do not have commercials, so you basically need to push all the times back however long the commercial was, etc. Youtube japanese subtitles - cophnia61 - 2015-09-16 Thank you for the suggestion about TedTalk! Youtube japanese subtitles - cophnia61 - 2015-09-17 Someone knows if there is a way to filter out video with auto-generated subtitles? Youtube japanese subtitles - Bokusenou - 2015-09-17 Below the search box on the left-hand side, click a button that says something like Filter, and then click Subtitles. Mine is in Japanese, so it says フィルタ & 字幕. |
