Mnemosyne - johanvg - 2006-08-13 I have reached 425 kanji (after 2.5 months :-\) and it is becoming a real chore to review them. Someone else here mentioned using Mnemosyne for reviewing purposes. Is there anyone who has a full database of the 2046 kanji and their RTK frame numbers, keywords, etc.? Mnemosyne - CharleyGarrett - 2006-08-13 I don't have exactly that. What I do have is the text file of over 3007 kanji used to load into Supermemo (which I have heard is related to Mnemosyne in some way). Let me know if something like that could be helpful to you. I had downloaded an excel spreadsheet, and then I did some corrections to it, so I have more confidence in my copy than I do in the original, so I won't mention that original (though I AM glad that I found it, since correcting is much easier than typing it all in). Mnemosyne - wrightak - 2006-08-13 I think that Mnemosyne, like Supermemo, is capable of importing Q&A text files. If you join the yahoo remembering the kanji group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Remembering_The_Kanji/ then there are various files that you can download there. Amongst them, are the supermemo Q&A text file and original excel file. I believe that both were created by Immacolata and Leo Smith, so thanks go out to them. You can manipulate the excel file and copy and paste to a text file to put it into whatever format mnemosyne requires. Instructions that might help you out can be found on this forum: http://www.crisscross.com/jp/forum/m_697576/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm Again, posted by Leo Smith. If you'd like any of these files and can't be bothered to sign up then send me an email and I'll mail them to you. |
