Is there an anki deck built similarly to the white rabbit kanji decks? I'm looking to try learning kanji and vocab by grouping by kanji. (It might make it easier?) The White Rabbit Decks seem popular if dated being paper.

i think there are "kanji damage" decks, among others on the anki shared deck site. might be similar though i only took a look before deleting it. i think it's difficult to learn vocab without example sentences.
nayr's core5000 and the core2k/6k decks are a better choice in my opinion. there's also the kanji odyssey 2001 deck, which not only groups vocab by kanji, but also groups the kanji themselves into groups of 5 that are commonly used together. i'll send you a link.

Is the KO2001 series of paper books with CD still being sold?
Or is this now just an internet site?

I just googled KO2001 and found the website. It would appear you can order the book or a book from the site. Is there an anki deck using books 3/4? I -do- need to study the first two books but they should hopefully go somewhat quickly as I've got a lot of kanji knowledge already so it's filling in gaps. The real work would start at book 3 I think. I estimate my kanji knowledge about N2 level (with gaps.. hehe ).

Is there an anki deck using books 3/4?if you mean what's referred to as 'level 3 & 4' on this page: https://www.coscom.co.jp/ebook/item_2001kanji.html , i don't think there's a deck for that. the deck i downloaded, i only have it because someone on reddit was kind enough to upload it and i assume it'd quite old. it only covers the first 1110 kanji. i have an old copy of the KO2001 disc, which only has what's in that deck. the remaining kanji have neither audio nor example sentences. looking at the site, apparently they've since added example sentences with audio going up to 2000 kanji.
