Kanji in Context to SRS or not to SRS - afrosattva - 2015-08-12 Hello all, I recently purchased "Kanji in Context" along with the accompanying workbook. I am enjoying the content and the overall idea of the book so far, but I am unsure of how to properly create anki cards for the text. For those who have used this text, how did you input the material into anki? Or, did you even use Anki? What is the best method for attacking this material? For the past week, I have been doing pages in the workbook, trying to figure out the best method for memorizing the material, but to no avail, no eureka. lol Just a little background on my studies: I am an intermediate level learner, so I'm not quite a beginner when it comes to Kanji. I've just decided to get the readings down once and for all. Kanji in Context to SRS or not to SRS - erlog - 2015-08-12 Put all the sentences into Anki, and drill Japanese -> Pronunciation/Understanding, but don't get too bent out of shape if the super late stuff is crazy hard. KiC's final chapters are kind of ridiculous. There might already be a spreadsheet somewhere with the sentences you can just import into Anki. I think people on the forums here had a project going for that. So that should save you some effort. Kanji in Context to SRS or not to SRS - afrosattva - 2015-08-12 Thanks for your reply! I've been looking for a spreadsheet since yesterday, however I have yet to find one. Going to keep looking! Kanji in Context to SRS or not to SRS - speck - 2015-08-14 This isn't mine, but I did find it helpful (you will need to own the book to use it properly)... http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=3317&page=5 |
