Tattoo doesn't appear to be a compound, just random kanji...or does it mean something?

The intent is probably "love, power, heroism" or something along those lines (the 英 is backwards but other than that it's OK)

Dunno, something about kanji tattoos on people who probably don't know japanese really gets under my skin. It's different for greek, arabic, and hindi text, because most people I've seen with those tattoos actually have some tie to the country, culture, language etc so that's understandable. Most people I've seen with kanji tattoos seem to want to tattoo something stupid like "love, power, heroism" but they know it's stupid so they get it in kanji because it's like some mystical code that makes "love, power, heroism" sound more worldly and it's a conversation starter because people have to ask what it means.

Does anyone remember the fake article about the disgruntled japanese tattoo artist that tattooed "General Tso's Chicken" or "tiny penis" instead of "beautiful goddess" or "strength and honor".
