Feature request: flashcard settings option - jmignot - 2015-06-10 The option recently introduced of displaying an example of On and Kun readings is great. However, I would like to have a more customizable alternative, namely displaying part of my "story" field. Like many others, I tend to use the extra space beyond the story itself to store some relevant information, such as the word in which I encountered that kanji for the first time (more meaningful to me than a word selected according to some frequency list), some other kanji I often confuse with that one, etc. One could define a special character separator marking the end of the "story" part and (optionally) display all subsequent text in the space currently reserved for On and Kun readings. Does this sound useful to somebody else? |
