Annoying ios 7 japanese font showing wrong kanjis - kasugano - 2015-05-08
Hi I am currently using anki ios and reading japanese stuff in my ipad. While reviewing anki I have seen weird japanese kanji. here are the images below.
I have tried installing different font put it's just the style that change. For example the typed for gossip 噂 in the top is an umbrella when it should supposed to be a horned one. Also for 諺 shown in this ipad is showing the stand radical 立 not a "v" but an "x" you can refer to the picture. This is so annoying since I could get wrong answering my anki reviews in my ipad wrong with some of the kanjis shown wrongly.
I want to read japanese with the japanese MS mincho font so using the font in ios confus me....

諺 should be the X, I think. 噂 is going to be the same in most fonts because that's the traditional form of the character. Heisig introduced some simplifications of non-Joyo kanji that not every font uses. Both of those kanji show up as your "wrong" versions on my computer as well.
