Just to pop back on the collocation question.

I agree that collocations are really important. While I don't actually go as far as Zarxrax-san, I very much recommend people to learn words that have a very particular collocation partner as a phrase.

For example, learn:

ため息をつく rather than ため息
噂が流れる / を流す rather than 噂
鼾をかく rather than 鼾
迷惑をかける rather than 迷惑

This is very little harder than learning the noun alone and means that you know it and know how to use it naturally in its verbal form.

Of course if you don't learn the collocation partner you can always tack する onto any of them and be understood, but it is much better to know the correct collocation.

Yes, I took your advice. I am so glad you like the result.

Actually that pink-on-pink text was a bit 読みにくい wasn't it? Especially for kanji.

Do other folks prefer it?
