Facebook's "Save Link" feature - gaiaslastlaugh - 2015-04-02 Not sure if this is a new feature, or if it's only on the iPad app, but Facebook now lets you save links for future reading in a bookmark list. This is something I've wanted for a while. I have my Facebook set up to show only Japanese friends and Likes, and frequently pop onto FB during the workday and read an article or two when I need a break from work. The addition of bookmarks means Facebook essentially now has an Instapaper-like "Read Later" feature. You can save an article for later reading, or go back and re-read a particularly difficult article again a few days later. Facebook's "Save Link" feature - RawrPk - 2015-04-02 I personally just use Pocket for saving articles. It works with popular internet browsers, mobile devices and plently of apps. I've been using Pocket App/ chrome extension since it was its previous name "Read it Later". https://getpocket.com/ Edit: it seems Android has that feature too. Learn something new everyday xD |
