Book Trading Club? - TheVinster - 2015-01-18
About a year ago or something I proposed the idea of selling books to each other. It never got off the ground but I think some people were interested. I have all these Japanese books laying around that I probably will never read again. Why not trade 1 (or several) of them for books from other people on this forum? Buying new books all the time is expensive stuff. My idea is basically start a community spreadsheet where you list the books you have and possibly some basic contact info. You can look at what other people have and discuss an agreed-upon trade. From that point you'll mail them to the person and that'll be that.
The spreadsheet would likely be private and only those active on this forum would be invited, so that there could be some sort of protection. A problem I anticipate is the fact many of us are from different areas of the world. Which could mean some trades may not be worth the effort.
If there are people interested please post here and let's figure out how to make it work.
