What's your favorite font for typing in Japanese? - john555 - 2015-01-20 I find I've gravitated to MS Gothic (the thick, blocky type that doesn't show the stroke directions). I think I find it easier to read compared with say MS Mincho which I used to use but gradually stopped using. Just curious what others' favorite font is. I generally like using Meiryo because it's decent even at low sizes, but if I can get away with larger then I'd go for either a Kozuka Gothic or Hiragino Maru. I have all my flashcards using the Meiryo and Osaka fonts to avoid the Kanji issue on Android. I find Mincho harder to read on a small screen.
