Look-Ups on Epwing dictionaries: How to do them offline? - Crovaz - 2015-01-05 Hello, I'm currently facing the following issue: I have three EPWING dictionaries available on my PC; I have been using a program called "EBWin" to manually look-up words on them at any time; I have integrated them with Rikaisama to "Highlight&LookUp" words in them while browsing the Internet. I would like to be able to use the (much quicker!) Highlight&LookUp feature offline as well, on my PDF and txt files. Thus far, I've been unable to do so. The best I could do was to open PDF files with Firefox, and use Rikaisama once more; however, the Highlight&LookUp feature I so adore becomes much less precise and fluid. (Compared to its use on actual web pages) Does anybody know any better solutions? (If the feature doesn't work, try a different PDF reader. It can be finicky). Look-Ups on Epwing dictionaries: How to do them offline? - Crovaz - 2015-01-05 Thanks! I'll try out GoldenDict. |
