sub2srs importing problem - ll5569 - 2014-12-18

Hello, my issue is that (I don't quite understand how mapping fields work) and audio doesn't play after I import sub2srs material into anki. I'd appreciate any advice.

Following the official guide on how to import sub2srs material into anki, I first faced the issue of the cards not being imported due to this error. It only imports one card. I don't understand why that happens, since it has worked in the past. In any case, that got fixed when I changed to Import even if existing note...

Now to my issue. As you can see, the field mapping is exactly as it is in the guide, but audio won't play.
The audio file is clearly there, mapped to the correct placing, I presume.
What is strange, and confuses me a little, is if I import the deck while having audio go on field 2, it works. However, I wish it could work in the former version.
When opening the .tsv file in notepad, it seems to me that audio is on field 3.

edit: out of curiosity, which font do you people use for the Japanese that will be displayed in anki?

Do yourself a favour and use something other than notepad. SciTE is just one alternative (amongst many).

(People who have an interest in quality software and the way the software should be architected, should study source code of this little gem.)

For the purposes of opening a .tsv file, Notepad++ is more than enough, isn't it?

I'm not tech-savvy, so I don't really use notepad for anything, but thanks for the suggestion.

You didn't say Notepad++ before - you see, there is a big difference between Windows plain Notepad and Notepad++.

(BTW, both Notepad++ and SciTE are built on top of Scintilla, it's just that the author of Scintilla used SciTE as a show case for it's underlying component. No wonder that people who wrote Notepad++ took notice...)

You are mapping the tags to a field in your model that you named tag. You should be mapping the tags to the native Anki Tag. You need to just get rid of that tag field from your model. I don't know what's wrong with the audio, did you verify that file exists in your Anki media directory (you copied it there right?).

The first field of a note should be unique within its note type. You need to reorder the fields of the note type, or just remove the Tags field and map the first field in the file to Tags.
