After making flashcards for 80% of the kanji i discovered an app called KANJI STORIES, where there's every RTK kanji plus story. You could change the numbering of the kanji's to old edition/new addition in the settings so it covers everything. The stories come from this site which is why it's so amazing, i wish i discovered this before i made 1600 f**king cards. It's also free and doesn't require an internet connection.

If you're into saving time, ought to check out Anki and its system of generating cards from templates and a fact database. Also the various tools people have made for automatically generating said facts.
It's pretty much impossible to understate just how awesome subs2srs is.

There are already shared Anki decks with all the 3000 something RtK kanji around. Stories included.

If you have an account at Reviewing the Kanji, you can use the "More Stories" link and it will open a Study page in a web view, so you can see more stories in addition to the ones included in the app.
