How do you set up NukeMarine's Optimized Kore2k/6k in Anki 2.0? - SevenSyndicate - 2014-08-13

Hi I am trying to follow NukeMarine's method listed here http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=5110
and he says to use Kore2k/6k but I cannot figure out how to use the spreadsheets he provided to get the deck in the proper order. I read this thread http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=165665#pid165665
but a lot of the things he mentioned were about that guys particular situation and how to fix it. Not a general set up. I already have the 3 spreadsheets copied into 1 spreadsheet. But where do I go from there, I have been trying to figure this out for hours now. Can someone please help me? Also should I go ahead and just use a different deck? I'm not sure. Thank you. Also it is worth noting that I am running Ubuntu with LibreOffice for excel sheets.

I don't have anki here on this computer, but here's my attempt from memory:

1. save the google spreadsheet as a csv file.
2. in anki make sure you have a card model that has a field for every column in the spreadsheet.
3. import the csv into anki
4. in the browser, sort by "new opt voc"
5. there's an option called something like "set to study order". I think it's in "file" or "edit" menu.
6. you're done

Thanks yogert I will try that, and Vempele I have that deck already, but is it sorted in NukeMarines optimized order? I was under the impression that it wasn't. I'm not sure.

That sure looks like it. At least the field names are the same. You would just need to make sure it is sorted correctly. You can do that by opening in the browser and confirm that new-opt-voc numbers match the numbers in the "due" column.

Oh ok I thought it was a bit different. But nevermind I figured it out now. The main thing I couldn't find was how to sort by specific fields, but I went to the handy dandy anki manual and did a little digging and found it. Thanks for the help everyone.
