A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar sorted? - EuPcsl - 2014-06-27
Hi,
I was wondering if you knew if there is available any sorted list of the grammars points included in this book (and maybe in the intermediate and advanced one too). I think this is the best book to study Japanese grammar but it's not so useful if you try to study it from page one.
So maybe some of you have studied or know of some sorted list by difficulty or any other logical way to sort the book.
I hope we can find something related with this to use this book to study...

Well...they're called dictionaries for a reason. You're not *supposed* to go through them alphabetically, since they're meant to be used as more of a reference book (although I did the former anyway).
I suppose you could take a beginner textbook like Genki or something and after you finish a chapter, read the corresponding entry in DoJG.

Anything in the beginner book would be something you should probably just learn before you start reading, otherwise it will be quite painful, so for the first book just read it all the way through. The next two books are good as references as you read.

Most people I know just looked up grammar in it as they came across it, but a few did it cover to cover.

There are grammatical frequency lists for English. I wonder if there is such a list for Japanese. If there is, it would help you prioritize the entries in each volume.
