It depends a little on what you consider "studying", but I don't think I've ever done much more than 1-2 hours a day, and sometimes less than that.

I don't have a daily regime outside of Anki, which takes me around 30 minutes a day.
I tend to take 2-3 hours of lessons on iTalki every week and spend another hour doing any homework requests, etc.
The rest of my time with the language is spent listening to music or watching TV.

All told, I spend 2-3 hours a day, but out of that only 45 minutes or so a day is "study" the rest is reading or things involving reading.
