iOS Japanese (Dictionary and flashcard app) - kraemder - 2014-05-26 I've used this app for years just as a pocket dictionary and really liked it. Recently I thought about switching all my SRS to the app and dropping my regular SRS app. I don't really know how the SRS algorithm with this app works though and I'm curious if anyone else used it and compared it to say Anki or something similar. If you're not familiar with this app here's a link: http://japaneseapp.com/ I've used it for about a week so far and I like how it tests both ways - Japanese on side 1 and also English on Side1. It seems to do it randomly and makes you get it right several times. I'm finding it super convenient for adding vocabulary I want to study. The phone is always on me. iOS Japanese (Dictionary and flashcard app) - Darukeru - 2014-07-05 Hello, yeah I use this app too, and I too feel the SRS in this app some weird, but I don´t know, for now it´s okey for me, it´s not my favorite dictionary in iOS, that one is Midori, but Midori doesn´t have SRS or a good reviewing mode for flashcard lists:/ so I use Japanese, even so I like both. iOS Japanese (Dictionary and flashcard app) - dtcamero - 2014-07-05 the SRS is bunk. made me study 3 times in a row and then says I don't need to review for 3 weeks...??? it's a shame... is an srs so difficult to add to a dictionary? I feel it could be a really great feature if it were added to imiwa? for example... |
