Need help with Anki - TyroneLove - 2014-05-04
Hey everyone. I'm going back to jap studies after a loooong break. I used to use AnkiMobile a lot to SRS on my iPod back then but am having some trouble with it now.
When I want to import decks from iTunes I first export them from Anki's desktop version as an .apkg files but then, when I add the deck on my ios device I get an error message telling me the files need to be .zip or .anki files. Changing the filename to either extension doesn't fix anything as I get an error message when trying to open the deck after import.
Also when I try to import from AnkiWeb or sync via the mobile app I get a "Unable to parse JSON string" error. I have the latest versions of both mobile and desktop Anki. Anki's online manual is not up to date and sucks a$$ so please, help.
