JLPT results mailing (in Japan) - jasberg - 2014-09-05 A question for anyone who took the JLPT in Japan. I took the JLPT in Tokyo, but don't live there. I was just notified that a letter was received at the address I supplied in Japan. I'm trying to decide if it's worth having that letter sent to me in the US. What does the mailing that was just sent out contain? It looks like ![]() Is it just the results, and test stats (same as shown online) or does it contain the official certificate that looks like JLPT results mailing (in Japan) - vix86 - 2014-09-05 Its the test results. I believe the postcard has a bit more info than is on the web site so you'll want that for your records. If you passed then I think you can just have a certificate mailed anywhere. Mine from the N3 in December looks like this: ![]() If you failed, there's just nothing on the right page. Your results are on the left but no certificate of your failure is included. Mine from the N3 in December looks like this:Interesting. It looks like you took the N3 in Japan. Did you never get a 8.5 x 11" certificate like the one in the photo? I took the N3 a year ago in San Francisco and got a diploma like 8.5x11 cert in the mail. I can't remember if it also came with results like what your photo shows or not. I didn't know the certificates varied so much... JLPT results mailing (in Japan) - penguins42v - 2014-09-06 jasberg Wrote:Interesting. It looks like you took the N3 in Japan. Unless I accidentally threw it out with all the junk mail I get at my apartment, I never got a 8.5x11 (or A4) cert in the mail like you posted. The one inside my postcard, as in the picture, was all I got. I know you can request a certificate if you need one - maybe it looks like that? Since I applied for the N3 via mail it would take too much effort for me to try it out. Now that I've switched to registering online, where they have the nice easy button to request a cert, I'll try it out.....if I ever pass N2. JLPT results mailing (in Japan) - Arupan - 2014-09-06 . |
