Are there any phone dictionaries with kanji recognition? - afterglowefx - 2014-03-19 I don't really care if it's Android/Apple as I'm replacing my phone soon. I want to start reading here in the next couple months and would love a dictionary app with image recognition (i.e., from the phone's camera) to make kanji/word look-up faster. I tried google but didn't turn anything up. Does such a dictionary exist? I've not tried it myself but the description does say it supports kanji OCR with the phone camera so maybe it's a good place to start. Are there any phone dictionaries with kanji recognition? - Bokusenou - 2014-03-20 I've found using 7notes with mazec to write the kanji while using a dictionary app works better for me, mainly because my luck with WWWJDIC's handwriting recognition hasn't been great. |
