about 200 cards to review a day - hazwanium - 2014-02-28 i just finished rtk 1 a few days ago , and have to review more than 200 cards everyday (using this site flashcard), how long does it take to reduce the review into 20-30 cards a day ? about 200 cards to review a day - john_sabater - 2014-02-28 If you do it like 100 everyday of course you'd have more to review. What more if 200. the bottom line is you cant.SRS system is meant to store information to long term memory and it is very reccomended if you did limit to 100 a day.....at least its more manageable. Your kanji learning has just begin. . . . review all due cards till you are confident if mastered all the kanjis. Good Luck about 200 cards to review a day - afterglowefx - 2014-02-28 I've never used this site for reviews but if the algorithms are the same as or similar to those of Anki it will take a while. I finished about 6 weeks ago with over 250 reviews a day and I'm now down to 60-80. That's with a very high retention rate--if you miss a lot of kanji it will take longer. about 200 cards to review a day - andikaze - 2014-02-28 Nobody can say how long it will take. But if you want to reduce it, get something like a kanji game somewhere and play a bit, to get "in the flow", and then do ANKI (or, well, this site). I noticed that my retention is always worst at the start of my sessions, so "warming up" makes sense. You can also cut yourself some slack with stuff you normally know perfectly well but somehow managed to forget just that moment. about 200 cards to review a day - ファブリス - 2014-02-28 Hazwanium, simply set yourself a daily limit. The SRS is already ordering cards in the due stack based on how long ago they were last reviewed. Therefore, whether you can review 10, or 30, or 50... they will be cards that need reviewing the most. Other cards, who knows.. maybe you will still remember them. Simply click "End" to end a review early and go to the Summary screen. Don't let the SRS rule you. At heart it's goal is simply to make your reviewing more efficient, not to tell you how many cards you must review at all cost. That would be silly, because it is only based on some theories, it has no exact knowledge of your current exposure to the characters, and all the myriad of factors that influence how you remember things. Also use the "Easy" (E key) answer now and then for the simple characters, they will have a longer review interval. about 200 cards to review a day - hazwanium - 2014-02-28 ファブリス Wrote:Hazwanium, simply set yourself a daily limit.
