JUMON vs MeCab vs CaboCha & dictionaries - pucelle - 2014-02-17
What are the differences between these 3? What's the difference between a morphological analyzer and a japanese dependency parser? I notice that parsers need to be trained/calibrated with the Kyoto Corpus before use & take mecab POS tagged text.

I also notice there seem to be different dictionaries called unidic, mecab-jumondic, and mecab-ipadic; what are they used for?
What are they all used for?
I've also heard mention of many different open source dictionaries, what are the differences between them?
