Texts of everyday life for a beginner? - vebaev - 2014-02-06 I'm looking for a book/reading for everyday life for a beginner at about N5 level. I'm interested in texts with modern topics content of everyday life: food, work, transport, entertainment, etc... Basically I want to have supplement as I'm passing now Genki 2 but there is lacking on reading material (also vertical), for practice reading more than 1-2 sentences at ones. And probably will be good for learning new vocab. Texts of everyday life for a beginner? - andikaze - 2014-02-06 Get Rikaisama and read about your favorite stuff on the net. At N5, there's not much you could do without it, as N5 is a stage where you're still busy learning enough to continue learning, so you can eventually switch to "real stuff" at an intermediate level. After Genki2, just using Rikaisama should be enough of a help, and when you still encounter strange grammar that doesn't make sense to you, you'll find ways to decode that with the help of the internet. Texts of everyday life for a beginner? - rokudo - 2014-02-06 http://chokochoko.wordpress.com/the-great-library/ There are some short stories based on jlpt level http://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/ nhk easy is a great introduction to native material. with rikaisama you shouldn't have a problem working through some articles. After I read an article I always go back and play the audio and read along.
