褐色 vs 茶色 - mc962 - 2014-01-26
I was playing around with kanji today and discovered that the kanji listed in RTK for brown (褐), isnt the kanji for the word for brown that I know (ちゃいろ).
褐色 is apparently read as かっしょく and 茶色 is ちゃいろ, the one I am familiar with.
What is the difference between the 2 words?
