Howdy fellow kanji-nauts! Just stumbling through. I'm very pleased to see so many of my stories from more than seven(!) years ago still being useful. I'm actually really proud of that. I left Japan long ago and don't use Japanese much any more, but RTK was one of the most engaging activities I've ever done, and this site was crucial to making it fun and easy. I hope my stories make your studies more memorable.

Hey hey, I recognise that name! I expect anyone who has gone through RTK in any recent time will as well.. You learn pretty quickly that this guy has basically got a monopoly on the top-stories count. I went back through RTK1 just over a year ago and I gotta admit, I stole more than a few ideas from you (even though I'm biased towards making your own stories). I gotta say, you had a knack for making good ones

If you don't mind telling, I'm curious to hear your story about living in and then leaving Japan. I'm sure your impressions and experiences will be helpful, or at least interesting, for everyone here. Many people are probably hungry for JLPT stories too, since the test was just last weekend. Whatever you feel like sharing will be appreciated, though.
