Harry Potter in Japanese - hk4673 - 2013-10-23 So I decided to buy a copy of Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone in Japanese to read something other than little kids stories (oh, wait) and also because I can always pull my English edition out of the drawer and check any doubts. My question is: there are three different editions in Japanese: hardcover, paperback and pocket edition. Does anyone know if there are any differences between them text-wise (read: does one has more furigana than the other)? Thanks! PS: I'm sorry if I didn't post in the right forum. Usually pocket editions have no space for notes and the text is quite small. Paperback editions vary. Sorry, I don't know about Harry Potter specifically. Harry Potter in Japanese - hk4673 - 2013-10-24 Thank you guys for your replies! Oh, I didn't know the paperback is smaller than the hardcover (and it's already quite small, did they really need an even smaller version? lol). Yeah, the pocket edition must be tiny and it's just not worth buying it around here anyway. I guess I'll go for the hardcover, even though I'm not particularly excited about that cover illustration, lol! |
