What could be considered a "good average" on Anki's rating system? - calabresa - 2013-10-09 Hey guys, I have started RTK 1 in about 4 months ago and I am on frame 1400 right now, this book is amazing and so is this page, it's my first time posting anything here so I hope this is the right place haha. Anyway, my average score is 90% on "young cards" and 85% on "mature card" (Today I got 98/94 but that was a sort of exception since I usually don't go this well =P). Is it normal? Is that the way it's supposed to be? Because I'am honestly clueless about how good or how bad I'm doing What could be considered a "good average" on Anki's rating system? - ryanjmack - 2013-10-10 Yeah that's a pretty good average for RTK. It's better than mine and I completed it 4 months ago. You shouldn't be too worried about the average scores though. Unless it gets below 80% then you may want to reevaluate your learning method. The beauty of Anki is that if you forget something you will be forced to review it multiple times before it becomes a mature card again. Just keep making progress every day and anki will do its job What could be considered a "good average" on Anki's rating system? - RawToast - 2013-10-10 calabresa Wrote:Anyway, my average score is 90% on "young cards" and 85% on "mature card" (Today I got 98/94 but that was a sort of exception since I usually don't go this well =P).Recall rate for young and new cards is of little importance in comparison to mature cards. There used to be a statement on the supermemo site about achieving a mature recall rate of around 80% |
