Anybody able to get Greenshot to OCR in Japanese? - rich_f - 2013-09-05
I just found Greenshot the other day, and have been using it for quick OCR captures of English-language materials, but I can't get it to do Japanese. I don't think the MODI OCR plugin will handle it, but I'm not too sure. So rather than reinvent the wheel, I figured I would ask here first if anyone has gotten it to scan in 日本語.

If not, I'll use Kanjitomo.
While e.Typist 14.0 is fine, it's rather awkward to use, gets stubborn about weird things, and I wind up correcting 5-10% of what it scans.
So I'm looking for the speediest solutions possible to OCR my N1 prep books. (It's pretty amazing to see how far OCR has come over the years.)
