Does anyone have any experience with them. I tried googling but they all seem to say the same thing and do the same things? How do you tell which one is good...
(Also I used RTK to learn Kanji, but forgot my old account name password so had to make a new one)

Honestly I have no experience with language schools in Japan or Hokkaido. I just don't like to see a post so barren and unanswered. So from my uninformed perspective, I can just say all three of those links look pretty legit. Just make sure you use the learning in the classroom to bolster and inform the real learning which will happen when you are communicating with the locals.

I don't think you can predict the quality of any of these, even if you read reviews, because the schools may have several different teachers, and the quality and method of teaching might vary between them.
(This is based on what I've seen on the net and my experience from the German language school in Berlin which I attended for two weeks this summer.)

Hi, I went to http://www.hokkaido-jals.com/ for 2 months.
If you are planning to go to a language school I can recommend it for a few reasons:
- They are really friendly and will help if you have any problems.
- They frequently invite Japanese volunteers into the school for nihongo kaiwa
- Because of the above there are lots of opportunities to make Japanese friends
- Sapporo is a great little city and a lot cheaper than going to Tokyo
- All the cool food you get for being in Hokkaido such as soup curry, jingiskan, milk sweets etc
Also if you are into onsens check out Hoheikyo, its a quick (free) coach ride away and should be awesome in winter.

You can catch a free coach to the onsen from outside Mitsukoshi. Considering the onsen is kind of in the middle of nowhere I think the idea is that if you take the coach there isn't much else you are going to do other than pay to use the onsen
