Personally, I would translate the last sentence as follows:
"There are many different kinds of apps, so it can be difficult to choose which ones to buy. Here, we'll introduce you to a few apps that are definite must-haves."
At least as a preliminary translation. It's always good to have an editor check over the translation to make sure it flows smoothly and sounds like it would if it were written in your native language.
One thing it's best to watch out for is direct translation; there may be words/phrases in the original passage that would sound unnatural if directly translated. What you might want to do is "conceptual" translation - to get the gist of the sentence across in your native language in a way that sounds smooth (which is why I personally would not directly translate ガイドがオススメする).
In my experience, articles such as these in English use "we," so that sounds good to me. Also, the last sentence ("Here, we'll introduce you to a few apps that are definite must-haves.") sounds more natural to me personally. From articles like these that I've read, that's the tone that tends to come across in the writing. So they wouldn't be "recommending" so much as saying "you GOTTA have this," because that's the way it's written.

Translating オススメする with "recommend" was probably not the best idea.
