Do you give choco back to your students? - Marumaru - 2013-02-20 Some of my juku students gave me choco for valentine's and I was wondering what's the protocol for this case? Do I give back next month to them? Even to the 5 year olds? I don't have a problem with it, I just want to know if it's normal or whatnot. Do you give choco back to your students? - Tzadeck - 2013-02-20 Yeah, you should ask your employer, since there might be rules about giving food to students. But if food is not okay and other things are I would give a small non-food gift, like a sticker or something for the youngins. I always have this problem where students in the hallways give me chocolates, and I have no idea who they are because there are more than 1000 students at my school and I obviously don't teach everyone. So they never get anything back, haha.
