furigana generator - zatarra - 2013-01-27 I've searched the web for some kind of program that I could paste a bunch of Japanese text into and generate furigana, just like the plugin on anki. I haven't found anything that does exactly what I want. I would like the kanji to still be there in smaller text above the furigana, like it does in anki. I don't know many kanji, but I would still like to practice reading and this would help me do that. furigana generator - vix86 - 2013-01-27 In what capacity? You do realize that programs basically have support the option to show furigana. There are programs that support generating the reading from the supplied text. But it won't magically place it over the text you want. Word can do furigana. Most of the web browsers can do it I believe (its called Ruby in browsers). I'll also point out that the program(s) that generate the readings are not user friendly. furigana generator - Oniichan - 2013-01-27 This site will generate furigana for you: http://nihongo.j-talk.com/ Just paste in your text, select 'furigana' and 'hiragana' in the pull down menus and then click 'convert. You can use the double arrow key to swap the positions of the furigana and kanji. However, the furigana will not be inline with the rest of the text. A hack way of accomplishing inline furigana would be to use anki and a plugin that swaps the furigana and kanji. Then, using anki's deck browser to generate the reversed furigana/kanji. furigana generator - zatarra - 2013-01-28 I must have lost this in my bookmarks a while back when I was looking for something like this. This totally beats any other option including the ones you guys posted. http://www.furiganizer.com/ This furigana looks great and it's in line and can be exported to word! |
