Practise of specific lesson in Anki - alecd - 2013-01-22 Hello, I am new to this form as well as to anki. I am currently at lesson 4 in RtK and I would therefore like to review only lesson 4's flashcards today. But when I open anki I start at lesson one (Im guessing), with the characters for one a two and such. I would like to know how (if its possible) you set the deck you want to study so that you can do the lessons in the correct order, cause right now I don't know what order the lessons will come in. I have already studied lesson 1-3 and today I want to repeat for over and over again with the help of anki.. so how do I do it? =) thankful for your help! Practise of specific lesson in Anki - RoyalBlue - 2013-01-22 The simplest thing would be to open the deck, set new cards to 0, and suspend all Kanji before lesson 4. Edit: But I would use the time to learn new Kanji, because Anki is a SRS (for more info check their homepage) and will drill the Kanji into you, even if you fail the first couple of times. It is way more time effective to just rely on Anki rather than suspending cards and drilling them daily. If you REALLY want to do any extra work, do it outside of Anki so you don't mess with the scheduling. Maybe on paper, practice handwriting

If your Anki cards are tagged or have a field with the lesson number you can isolate just these cards with a Filtered Deck. I don't know what your Anki deck looks like, but for example, if your deck has a field called "Lesson" that is numerated by number, you can put "Lesson:4" into your custom study search. When you build the deck, it will move all your cards into the Filtered deck till your done with them or empty the deck. Let me know if this doesn't make any sense. |
